would not recommend. only the receptionist felt welcoming and definitely wouldn't say they're "trans friendly" even if the doctors themselves might be accepting. i definitely felt the tension as someone who hasn't been to the doctor in a few years for that exact reason. read the other recent reviews i definitely felt like a money bag vs a patient.

If you want to get charged an arm and a leg without any notice AFTER paying your co-pay by Catalyst Physician Health Group, have below mediocre care from the doctor, feel like you’re a burden for asking questions other than the direct reason you’re there, and walk out regretting you came…then this is the place for you. I don’t write negative reviews usually, but in this case I felt like it was necessary. Still trying to resolve billing 4 weeks later.

I strongly discourage you from seeing Dr. Nguyen here. For context, I am a medical school student. 1. She ordered a blood test for me that I specifically said I did not want (poor listening skills for a doctor...). The test was wholly unnecessary. I was responsible for its costs. 2. She asks patients who need routine tests ordered for office visits. Now, why would I need to pay for an office visit if I need a test ordered for school (no health concerns?). This practice recently merged with Catalyst Physician Group and it has become crystal clear why my fabulous physician bolted from this practice with no notice to me from their office. Under this new group you have to schedule and reschedule an appointment for every single medication. Today I called for an appointment because they denied my refill even though I recently established with another of their doctors and they refused to allow me to make an appointment stating I had a balance. Update: 12/11/24 - After today, I have decided to cut ties with this clinic and find a new family practice which sucks because my PCP was of the best doctors. The issue came about the co-payment, which my insurance company allows to be billed/paid at a later time, and in the past, when I've had appointments between paid periods, it never has been an issue until today.
